Mood: nothing I haven't felt before
Music: Tegan & Sara - Not With You

I've read three books in the last 24 hours. I'm back, bitches.

I'm in a lackluster mood so I'm eating potato chips and drinking soda. Better than drinking alcohol. The day I start drinking alone we know I have a problem. But hey, payday was today so at least I can afford junk food.

I'm involved with a World Cup pool at work. My team is Uruguay. Go team, go. I want that 32,000W dammit. I'll buy everyone a bottle of soju if Uruguay wins. Or maybe just cookies.

I'm tired of the Koreans turning off the air conditioning and opening the windows. You have no problem leaving your classroom downright frigid, yet you're such a delicate flower that you can't possibly bear to be a bit chilly for 40 minutes in the teacher's room? Whatever, twatbags.

6 days until the 10K. I am ridiculously excited. It's going to be awesome, no shit. It's like--everything I've been working for over the last year is finally coming to a head. Finally.

what books, im curious to know! im in taipei right now just visiting, i leave taiwan in abt a week, so sad but at the same time i know i'll be back soon to visit. i love going to bookstores and just pulling like 10 books out, reading them randomly.

haha i love your posts, with their cynical twist! sometimes i just worry b/c i want to make sure you're happy and stuff, and i know you are. just because your posts sometimes come out sounding overly cynical, so i just tend to worry! that's just me. =) but just want to make sure you know - that you're happy above all. (the drama, bullshit, whatever - ah, is always life, no??)

well i am leaving so soon, tell you what i'll email you when i get to India b/c i am going there next week and stay for about two months, visiting my grandmother who isn't doing too well (she's insanely stubborn, literally won't comply with these doctors, i don't blame her b/c im the same way) anyway so deal, i give you my india mailing address when i get there and then you give me yours!!!

none of the books are particularly good, just things like Percy Jackson and Hex Hall. I don't necessarily recommend them. You're leaving Taiwan already?! It seems like you just got there!

aw, thanks. I really am happy overall. Keep in mind - people spend more time talking about the bad than the good. I've just been doing that a lot lately. That's just the sort of mood I need to be in to write in this journal these days.

I hope your grandmother will be okay, and have fun in India-- send me your address, we can exchange info! be safe!
