Mood: dead
Music: These New Puritans - Elvis

I hate six year olds. 건우, 하연, and 진완 are rotten little fuckers. I don't know what happened between Thursday and today because that class went from being okay to a total nightmare. I need to figure out a new method of discipline, and fast, because this shit isn't working.

I finished the book I've been reading at the gym: The Android's Dream by John Scalzi. Far better than I was expecting, and now I feel a big Science Fiction kick coming on. Pity I have a grand total of zero scifi books here beyond that. I'll just borrow a couple from the GIC next weekend, I guess.

Also: 안녕, Nigel! Now get an LJ.

I really like the commending good students by name idea - I'm going to try it on Thursday (the next time I have these classes). The name on the board thing works with my older classes, but these kids have such poor English - and no English names - that I don't want to even try. I'd rather keep Korean out of the classroom than start writing their names on the board... although if need be, I'll break out the hangeul and go for it.

You can read Russian? Nice! I didn't just throw in French... there was a bit of Italian sprinkled in there as well. ;)
