a long weekend.

There was a lot of drama this weekend. I can't say I'm in the mood to talk about it, so here's my standard response: whatever. At least the weekend's over.

After Korean class Saturday Megan, Zandra and I went to a Korean place for lunch, where we ran into Nigel, Jodi, and Kylee. After a very tuna & kimchi flavored lunch, I went to a park with N, J, and K. We spent a while trying to decide what we wanted to do. We ended up at a coffee shop, then N&K left and Jodi and I wandered around for a few hours. I used another claw machine and managed to get a stuffed Smurf. Shit happened. I got pissed off with everyone and went to dinner with Kylee. Then Kylee decided that we were going to Jodi's and bought a bunch of booze. Eventually Josh showed up. We vaguely planned to go downtown, but suddenly it was 3am and we realized we'd been at Jodi's for something like 7 hours and we went our separate ways.

It was a gorgeous day today - a little windy, but sunny and warm. This morning I went downtown with Jodi and Kylee, got McDonalds for breakfast, and stopped by UNIQLO. Then we returned to Pungam, more shit happened, we collected Josh, and walked to World Cup to play tennis. I played and lost against Josh - the former gym teacher - and came to a realization: I suck at all sports. Except running. So I ended up sitting on a bench and tanned.

Later I went to dinner with Nigel and Megan. Then I came home. Then I sent a text message I probably shouldn't have. It's like... I'm not good at this whole being friends thing, or showing people I care, but there are people I really do care for, and even if it's an awkward attempt, I want to make sure they know. I don't know how they took it - their text response was not the most enlightening thing in the world - but, well, I tried. And sometimes that's all you can do.

Now I'm frustrated and tired. I think it's time for bed.
