technologically nauseated (band name!)

Here's some advice: running just a few hours after you ate a ton of Indian food + drank five cups of water is not a good idea. I'm surprised I didn't vomit all over someone's lawn. Plus, it was raining. Now my calluses are peeling. (tmi lolol)

I cleaned the living room and kitchen today and now my parents are threatening to not let me leave. "It's never been so clean!" they say. "And whose fault is that?" I ask. And so on.

My beloved Project Runway was on last night. The shitty designs! The delusional contestants! The rampant bitchery! It was like finding an oasis in the middle of the desert after spending ten years without water. I'll probably be posting a review on The Useless Critic in a few days. Even if you don't care for the show, go check out that blog. It's good stuff!

Which should I buy: a Garmin Forerunner 305 (with heart rate monitor) or an 8 GB iPod Nano? The Garmin is $163 (+S&H), the iPod is $134 (+S&H). I have a two year old 2nd Generation iPod Shuffle (1 GB) that's probably on its last legs. I don't have any running devices. Thoughts? Advice?
