I don't think I can possibly explain how much this means to me. I used to be that fat kid who could barely run half a mile, and now I'm running freaking 5 miles. And yeah, it was kind of difficult, but it didn't hurt (too much) and I hit my second wind around mile 4. I'm just blown away by this.
My fantasy from the very beginning of this whole running nonsense was to be able to run 5 miles by September 1. Well... I hit that goal a month early. And if my body cooperates (lord willin' and the crick don't rise) I'll be doing 7 miles on September 1.
In conclusion: I ROCK!!!!
