I finally had the interview with the TEFL recruiter. It went smashingly well. Now I need to start collecting everything I need for my Visa, and I should be set. South Korea, here I come! (... in August or September.)

The interview was originally set for 11am today, but the recruiter didn't call. I was a little annoyed/frustrated, so I sent her an email asking what was up. She called me about two hours later and explained - I won't go into why she didn't call, but it's a believable excuse, so I'm okay with it. She'll be looking for hagwons, otherwise known as private schools (although I'll ask about public schools as well), the kindergarten/elementary level, in decent-sized cities. I'm down with that. I'm damn excited is what I am!

Some things I need to work on getting hold of: my diploma (which, according to the registrar's office, will be sent out the first week of June), transcripts, and a criminal background check. Hopefully none of this will require to much effort or stress.

I've spent the last couple days working out, like, a lot, sitting around, and reading. Good times. Boring, but good. Hmm, I think I should go construct my new South Korea blog right about now...

Ah I wish. I promised my mom I'd come home bc of family stuff... my parents can't handle things on their own anymore.

Aw... that's admirable! I love my parents, but I don't think I could stay here. It just... wouldn't work. Maybe one day you'll head off to territories unknown... and if you ever happen to visit South Korea (or wherever I happen to be), I'd be glad to show you around. :)
