Mood: eh
I am in a great mood right now. Amazing, even. Fantastic. Outrageously good.
Since I got to work I totally did my take-home Ancient Egypt test. Now I have one more translation edit, one final, and one more night of work left. And then I graduate from college. Yessss!
I hung out with my friends for a change Friday night. We went to Wrong Daddy's and saw a stand-up comedy act done by a JINS class. It was good, and, best of all, I got to see Caitlin! It's been like nine years since I've seen her, no shit. Okay, more like since last semester, but whatever. Good times.
My running is going surprisingly well. I'm running a mile, non-stop, for the first time in my life. In high school I ran a 16+ minute mile, which included far less running than now. Do you know how ridiculously good it feels to have made such progress? I'm not a failure at life! I'm not! Now I just need to keep this shit up. And, better yet: learn how to run without access to a track. Yikes.

Okay... how about this: we meet at least once a year, every year, starting TODAY. Anywhere in the world. I'm totally not kidding. Dude, we should go on vacations together! To like France! Where we'll do a marathon or something! And in like twenty years our kids will call us "Aunt Caitlin" and "Uncle Adam" or something adorable like that! OH MAN. Best idea ever, am I right?
E> FOREVER,
Adam

Thank you!! Don't worry, my discussion about peanut butter was hard for me (and Jumper, for that matter), too... I was talking about the variety of foods in grocery stores, and mentioned the variety of types of peanut butter, and the conversation went on from there. Plus, Russian doesn't actually have a word/phrase for "peanut butter". We settled for масло из орехов. yeah, haha. don't worry about fourth year! since you'll be the only person there, Jumper will adapt it to your level/what you want to do.
from now til graduation... I am doing a whole lot of nothing. I'm not actually planning to walk at graduation, but yeah. just sitting around, hanging out with people on occasion, etc. nice and relaxing. :)

Plus... the guest speaker they have this year is John Ashcroft, a conservative schmuck who okay'd torture for the government. When my mother found out he was speaking, she thanked me for not walking - she didn't want to hear him speak. And I, for one, agree, haha.
