I worked on Russian/Film from 4:30 until 9:45. I still have 2.5 more pages of Film to write up, although they're just on Battleship Potemkin and The End of Saint Petersburg. Laura, Jill & I have decided to meet up after every class to work on our film analysis sheets, and we're going to watch all of our movies (for the final paper) together. It's pretty much just self-defense, since we're all Russian majors/minors and suck at analyzing and understanding the technical film crap.

Not gonna lie, being friends with 3496 dating couples is making me think more about V-Day than I normally would. Honestly, I'm glad that I'm not in a relationship--I have better things to do with my time. Like, y'know, study (lol jk). Or do my hair. Or sleep. (To tell the truth, the only people I'd actually consider going out with are already in a relationship, gay, several states away, or some combination thereof. Is it really that hard to find someone with a halfway decent taste in music and a good personality? Don't answer that.) Can I get a "what what" for being ambiguous? Oh snap (crackle&pop)!

Music Chat: I don't know if I should take Mika seriously. He has a rather good voice, but his lyrics are kind of lame & he really needs to avoid the whole high-pitched thing. I've really been enjoying The Long Blondes & Ambulance LTD lately. The Freelance Hellraiser is really impressive. Heypenny is an excellent (unsigned!) indie act. And since nobody actually reads my music-babbling, I'll shut up now.
