Mood: phantasmagorical
Music: Out Hud - Dear Mr. Bush, There Are Over 100 Words For Shit And Only 1 For Music. Fuck You, Out Hud

Yesterday: didn't do much; hung out with Amanda & Kendal, went to Pagliai's with Amanda, her roommate, and her roommate's boyfriend, got my institutional hours job (hours: starting this Saturday, 2:30am-6:30am; a week from this Saturday, 10:30pm-2:30am; and I have each every other week. I'll also be picking up extra shifts whenever someone can't work), and so on.

Today: I woke up about 39474579 times last night, gave up trying to sleep around 5:45, and went and showered, ate, etc. I'm pretty sure I pulled a muscle in my back since I'm in pretty much constant pain and can barely move without wincing. This is nothing new.

My schedule:
CMDS 200 Intro to Communication Disorders - MWF 8:30-9:20
RUSS 115 Elementary Russian I - MTWRF 10:30-11:20
CMDS 101 Clinical Observations I - F 11:30-12:20
MATH 156 College Algebra - MWF 1:30-2:20
FREN 320 French Composition & Conversation I - TR 12:00-1:20
CMDS 261 Phonetics - TR 1:30-2:50

Classes were pretty okay. I'm kind of neutral about Intro CMDS, I guess, but we haven't really done anything yet. Out of about 30 people, there are only three guys. Uh... I have to read 2 chapters by Wednesdayish. Probably I'd like the class more if Barnett wasn't so goddamn far away. Russian was amazing, I swear to god. We learned about 2/3rds of the Cyrillic alphabet & how to write Cyrillic in cursive today. It's 5 days a week & there's a lot of required homework (2-5 pages every night), but goddammit, it'll be worth it. Algebra was, well, Algebra. The teacher's a grad student and the class is almost entirely freshmen. Probably it won't be too terrible. If I get anything below a B I'll probably slit my wrists.

This is the first semester I have classes in Barnett and Violette, and, coincidently, I don't have classes anywhere else. It'll be weird not going to Baldwin or McClain.

I'm going to go close the window and eat my tuna sandwich and think about, y'know, studying. Procrastination has officially set in: a sure sign that the semester hath begun.
