look me in the eyes

sometimes I just say things

This morning when I woke up I texted Misty. "Do you want to check out the temple in Sangmu?" I asked. (Megan mentioned earlier this week that she was going to take Misty there but didn't have the time. I decided to pick up her slack.)

"Sure," she said. So we met up at 11am. We proceeded to explore the temple (all decked out for Buddha's birthday) and the 5/18 Memorial Park. Then we wandered around Sangmu. We had lunch at McDonalds (I KNOW), but they gave us free cups and then the Korean Ronald McDonald wandered around and gave us free toys and stationary sets.

We walked some more, got lost, reoriented ourselves, and went to a sex store, where I received service lube.

It's not as dirty as it sounds, honest.

Then we walked around Uncheon Reservoir, relaxed, tried to catch a taxi, failed, hopped on the wrong bus (!!), got lost, got off the bus and walked back to Pungam. I then took the correct bus back to my apartment. It was a day. I got a nice sunburn, I walked for 4 hours straight, and I'm in a good mood because I actually got out of the house and did something physical. It wasn't a full day trip, but it was a step in the right direction.
