this is me

duh duh duh duh duhduhduhduhduh duh

I didn't leave the country for Seolnal (Lunar New Year). I regret it, a little, but I'm glad I stayed put. I was sick for a couple days and that would've made the entire trip a waste, I think.

Instead I stayed in Gwangju and ate and bought shit. I have new glasses now. And new sneakers. And new sweatpants, and a sweatshirt, and miscellaneous other shit. Today I received a package - my first! - from the states. My mom sent a package containing a credit card, Irish Springs soap ("What does it smell like?" "I don't know." "It smells like ME! (guffaw)"), and my new wireless iPod speakers/dock. They are magnificent. Perfect size for traveling.

I need to start working out properly. I'm debating buying an exercise bike. I was going to go for a walk/run tonight but found a reason not to: I had to figure out my new speakers. Well then. If I didn't have to leave the house to exercise, would I do it? I don't know. I would hope so.

I'm contemplating starting a new blog about life in Korea. No names, no stated places. Just experiences I've had. I think I have things to say about life in Korea that simply isn't discussed - at least, not in English.
