Haircut + awkward me
O, hai intarwebz. I'm currently at the library, where I've been for, oh, 2.5 hours now. It has air conditioning, it has wireless internet, and it's a change of scenery. Very nice. It's kind of weird seeing all the freshmen walking around. I mean, Jesus, I was in their position three years ago. Am I really that old? I've been thinking about the answer to that question, and I realized that I turn 22 in March. 22 is old. 21 isn't. What's with that?
My parents left a few hours ago and now I'm free, free, free! My own apartment! No roommates! Quiet! Cleanliness! No passive-aggressive bullshit, no animals, no loud noises at eight in the fucking morning! Needless to say, I'm ecstatic about my new living arrangements. Plus, I finished unpacking/setting everything up. That's always a plus.
I plan to read a lot this week. Also, I lost some weight over the summer, so I should probably go running and try to, y'know, be healthy for a change. Crazy idea, I know. Tomorrow I need to go to the post office to pick up my post box key. And then I'll probably go to the library and sit around for a few more hours. Actually, going to the library and sitting around is more or less what I plan to do every day this week. I really need to call Amanda/Erin/etc and see if they're in the 'ville yet. Being social would be a nice change.
