Classes are over. The final went surprisingly well (5-) and I received the second highest grade in the class - an A. Needless to say, I'm rather pleased. Oh, and I received my score (pre- and post-) on the OPI; I went up one full level, so I'm now intermediate-mid. Not great, but not bad, either. Now I'm just trying to figure out how I'm going to spend the $20 on my meal card by tomorrow. I should also contemplate packing. That'd probably be a good idea.

I decided to go ahead and drop Soviet History, so I will be taking Portuguese this upcoming semester. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts/advice, especially Amanda, whose comment(s) really helped influence my decision. I think my primary issue was taking three 100-level classes in a single semester. However, second (spring) semester I'll only be taking one, so I won't feel like such a huge slacker. Well, hopefully.

Plans for the next week: go back to Chicago, get a hair cut, pet my cats (and no, that is not a euphemism for "masturbation"), eat large amounts of food, get new shoes/clothes/books, study for the Russian placement exam/LSAT/GRE, slit my wrists, etc. Next Friday I'll be heading down to Missouri. It'll be an eventful week. Here's hoping my parents won't drive me insane.
