furious angels

this is a warning siren

Here's a little something to start your June off right: posornot.com. It's an eye opener.

On a completely unrelated topic, I discovered the LJ community novel_in_90. Basically, you write 750 words a day (or 1.33 pages) for 90 days, producing a good sized novel. It's like NaNoWriMo but a hell of a lot less stressful. Needless to say, I'm all for it. Now I just need to decide what I should (re)write/finish: NaNo '04, '06, '07, or what will possibly be '08? (I'm not touching '03 or '05 with a ten foot pole, and I only mention '04 because I think the plot has potential.) Jesus, I've done NaNoWriMo for a long time.

I received an e-mail today stating that I have indeed placed into third year Russian at the summer program. I'm quite relieved about this. I'd be fucked if I didn't place at the right level, and I'm also happy to know that they are acknowledging my existence. Before today, I hadn't received any correspondence from them in about a month.
