dies the fire

my voice may be monotone, but my heart sure ain't

Writing science fiction is strange. I'm not sure if I love it or hate it. Does anyone have any advice for how to write it? Anything special I should do/avoid? A basic synopsis: it's a mystery ~100-150 years in the future. Post-global warming, massive urban expansion, corrupt government(s), drugs/prostitution legalized... etc.

Dan Savage annoys me. I mean, he's often witty and (usually) gives good advice, but he's such an asshole. Take the broom out of your asshole and stop insulting heterosexuals, bisexuals, and--well--everyone, you ridiculous cunt! Jesus. And yet I keep reading...

Today was Amanda's birthday. I gave her an IOU for pizza, whenever she wants it, a good, long discussion on philosophy and religion, and... I danced. The macarena, the worm, and (my really pathetic version of) the kazatsky. That was the first and last time I will ever dance in front of another human being. Y'all just wish you were cool enough to see me dance. Bitches.
