suffocating in here

you know what i fear, the end is always near

The trip back to Missouri wasn't bad. I hung out with Amanda last night & we watched Saved! It warmed the cockles of my heathen, atheistic heart. Some comparable films: But I'm A Cheerleader, Mean Girls. I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend it, regardless of your religion.

Russian: the bookstore ordered the wrong textbooks & they should have them in tomorrow. I hope. It's just like last semester, except I don't remember a thing. Stupid break. Gotta rememorize the case endings...

French: my class consists of six people, four of whom (myself included) had Dr. F last semester. I was worried about doubling up on the Beane-action--I also have her for Russian--but it doesn't seem to be too awful yet. I'm just excited that I actually understood her (very rapid, very Parisian) French. She's renowned for being adored by every Russian student and hated by every French student. This, plus Russian, will probably kill me.

Russian & Soviet Cinema: a night class I have twice a week. Major requirement. The course looks interesting. No tests or quizzes, we'll watch +12 films this semester, only a few papers will be due. It's not too awful so far. We'll see how it goes.
