this is me

me plus one

Part of an e-mail I just received:

That amuses me far, far too much.

In other news, I have sent out my first scholarship essay, I did something to my hair (what I did will be apparent tomorrow), my orange dye arrived in the mail!, and I did a lot of reading and petting my cat.

Today was the curriculum exposition thingy at the school. Basically, it was where the parents got to go through their children's schedules, and hear the teachers go on about what they're teaching. My mother went - she was one of two people who showed up for GDA and the only person in French and Italian. She then decided to ditch class and came home after fourth period.

Apparently, my teachers love me. I'm "very self-confident, but not in an arrogant way"; I'm a "joy to have in class"; and my "views are very interesting". Nice. My mother also chatted with Mrs. Rosanski, the language lab lady, who went on about how nice I am, how much she likes my hair, and how I have a "great sense of humor".

What a change from freshman year!

I love not having any homework to do. Love. And no tests or quizzes to study for, either! Every week needs to be like this one, seriously.
