this is me

it's not what we do.

I finished 1984, and I'm not sure about how I feel about it.

You see, it is a good book. The first third of the book is very engrossing. The second third sucks. Then the rest is somewhat, well, in between.

It's an intriguing novel. It's definitely not as good as everyone I know has spouted, but it isn't as bad as it could have been.

Rating: better than Frankenstein but not as good as A Room With A View. Not that it's hard to get to that rating level...

I should go finish reading A Clockwork Orange. Yet another book that I don't see what the big deal is - actually, it's pretty good so far, but everyone I know said that they had trouble figuring out what words meant the first time through. I'm only about 50 pages in and I've had no problems. Whatever.

My hair is really large right now. Stupid thing.

I'm attempting to decide what to wear (cough buy cough) for senior pictures (which, coincidentally, we got a different appointment for). I have no nice clothing. Hell, I don't have anything that isn't a t-shirt and jeans. I should go shopping.

What would you consider to be a "good" color on me? I have no clue. Jesus, these pictures are in July. Why am I thinking about them now? SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP ADAM. STOP THINKING.

...if only I could wear a t-shirt.
