Mood: ok

Some noteworthy things.

1. I've exercised 1 hour a day, 6 days a week, for 4 weeks.

2. I've kept track of my money flow for the last 6 weeks. Today I added up my monetary expenditures by week and proceeded to be horrified. For the first time in my life I'm going to start a budget.

2a. My budget will be as such: 100,000원 a week, excluding bills and the cost of Korean tutoring. Realistically I could survive on 75,000원 a week, but things aren't that dire yet. Basically I just need to stop going to Paris Baguette and stop ordering chicken delivery and I'll be on budget. I'm also thinking about changing my phone plan but I want to experiment with ways to save data first.

3. The weather's beautiful today. My new allergy meds are good enough that I can even enjoy it. (This has been a miserable allergy season. Oy.)

4. UNIQLO is moving in 3 blocks from my apartment. An impending sense of doom swept over my body when I saw that sign. Good time to start a budget.

5. I'm thinking about starting a Korean literature/gender studies/racial analysis blog. Think The Grand Narrative meets KTLIT meets Gusts of Popular Feeling meets Racialicious. I dunno. I think this shit's interesting and my opinions are obviously important enough to discuss in a public forum. Not like anyone would read it, but at least it'd give me some practice with critical analysis. After all, the world needs another middle-class white man analyzing race and gender, right?

Yeah, but you're also JEWISH. AND you're gay.

We both knows that means you can write any analyses you want, and no one can say shit. Minority ftw!
